Since its release in December 2020 RKB Vitesse’s debut album has been building a cult following with spins from Optimo, Gideon Coe on 6 Music, Bo Ningen on NTS & a host of underground radio stations. Lost Map Records loved it so much they re-released the single Pledge Psychodrama with a bundle of pschoanalytical remixes. On this remix EP Maria Uzor (Sink Ya Teeth) takes a glorious, dubby trip through the mantras pointing effervescent machinery firmly at the Dance. Label honcho Serafina Steer (Bas Jan, Jarv is) conjures spectres of Nyman in a warehouse with a torch and an EBM manual. RKB Vitesse steps out and down, mining brutalism in search of heavy synthetic epiphanies. We hope you like. X
